II. General Information
AUP Mission Statement: The Adventist University of the Philippines exists to

Course description: The course
surveys the seven fine arts which include painting, sculpture, architecture, music, literature, cinematography, and theatre.
Emphasis is placed on elements and historical significance.
Course Objectives
A. Cognitive aims
1. Understand and evaluate the arts more
critically
2. Appreciate the arts of different countries in different stylistic periods
3. Have
a working knowledge of what influences affect works of art.
B. Value aims
1. Really enjoy art as it is.
2.
Use the knowledge of art as a means of sharing the Gospel.
3. Thank God for the blessings art brings.
